There is nothing new about pajama dressing. Much like Gab Chanel, I’ve been wearing sleepwear as streetwear for years. Unlike Coco, the flannel pajama pants and tanks I wore to classes in college were far from glamorous loungewear. They were baggy, ratty, and incredibly convenient for walking to my 7:30 am class. As much as I loved them, they were not the kind of thing you wanted to be seen in. Thankfully, I grew up and so did my taste in sleepwear.
These days, I’m eschewing flannel pants and bringing a bit of boudoir to my outfits with satin kimonos and fur slides. As soon as the weather permits, I plan on going full silk pajamas for morning meetings and after work drinks. There is just something so chic and unfuckwithable about sleepwear as streetwear that I’ve been searching for the perfect pajamas for months. While I still haven’t found them, I have found plenty of outfit inspiration for when I do.

A night dress as a dress styled chicly is always a win in my book.
